Tuesday 3 July, 2012 – Wednesday 4 July, 2012
Greenwich Maritime Campus
This year’s annual conference is a celebration of academic practice and its relationship to teaching. In previous conferences we looked at aspects of academic practice through the lens of learning, emphasising the development of the learner and the student experience. 2012 is likely to be a watershed year: the change in funding higher education will have a significant impact on universities. At this university, a new corporate vision will map out our direction for the next 5 years. Placing a high value on the quality of teaching and the development of teaching staff will be key to raising the quality of opportunities for students and the continued growth of a professional learning community. There is no better time to explore and celebrate what we do as we move into a new era of UK Higher Education.
