The 16th Academic Practice and Technology Conference will be held on Tuesday July 3rd 2018 at the Greenwich Maritime Campus in London.

The conference title is "An uncertain future: adapting academic practice for an evolving digital world". Our keynote presenters this year will be Professor Bart Rienties, Professor of Learning Analytics at the Open University and Pierre Dubuc, co-founder of the French company OpenClassrooms, and one of the world’s largest online education platforms.

A one day conference co-organised by the University of Greenwich and the London School of Economics & Political Science, the programme explores new approaches and innovations in the use of education technology which are being adopted across the sector by higher education professionals.

The theme of the 2018 conference will be the adaptation of academic practice, exploring how university staff involved in teaching and assessment  are advancing their use of educational technology in an era of challenging and changing times for UK universities.
